[Staff Highlight] Anna Sarcon, MD, FACC

Anna Sarcon, MD, FACC specializes in Electrophysiology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine at the UCR Health Multispecialty Center. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.

Dr. Sarcon is board-certified in Internal Medicine and a member of Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology. She brings unique life experiences and passion for advancing science and inspiring the future generation in medicine. She is also excited to bring much needed services in Cardiology, particularly in Electrophysiology to Riverside County and its community. In addition, she is fluent in English and Spanish.

“Imagine yourself in the patient’s shoes,” Dr. Sarcon said when she was asked what her patient philosophy is. She added, "I have worked and lived in many places, internationally and within the United States. I appreciate diverse cultures and backgrounds. My education has allowed me to relocate and learn not only about medicine, but people in places I have lived in." Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and horseback riding.

Crystal Glassy, DO, specializes in family medicine and integrative medicine at the UCR Health Multispecialty Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Physician Specialties. Dr. Glassy is an active member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, the American Board of Integrative Medicine, and the American College of Osteopathic Physicians. "Be curious to the patient's story, listen and be present," Dr. Glassy said when she was asked what her patient philosophy is.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Glassy shared, “I like spending time with my husband and sons, cooking and enjoying the great outside weather here in Southern California.” She added, "I am a wife and a mother of two young boys. My time outside of patient care is devoted to my family. We enjoy outdoor experiences, reading, crafting, and music."

December 2022 Physician Highlight – Brenda Ross, MD

Brenda Ross, MD is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician at UCR Health Inland Empire Women’s Health Center. Dr. Ross is a graduate of Howard University College of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at Howard University Hospital. She completed her MFM fellowship through a joint program at Cedars Sinai and Harbor UCLA Hospitals. Following her training, she completed a Medical Genetics fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and subsequently joined their faculty. Dr. Ross was the director of the HIV and Pregnancy program at JHUSOM for 5 years. She has served as a local perinatologist for 13 years and is the current chairman of the OB/GYN department at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical School.

Dr. Ross believes in the patient philosophy of providing patient-centered care that optimizes outcomes by making sure the patient fully understands the findings and treatment plan.

Sadikah Behbehani, MD specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the UCR Health Inland Empire Women’s Health Center. She completed a Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada fellowship at McGill University which allows her to skillfully treat all aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. In addition, Dr. Behbehani has completed a second fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic and can perform complex pelvic surgeries with both laparoscopy and robotics. Being double fellowship trained, Dr. Behbehani can appropriately treat all surgical conditions, especially those that affect fertility such as endometriosis and fibroids.
