Patient Philosophy
As a parent of an 18-month old, I know how stressful a sick child can be (or a healthy one, for that matter). I strive to be caring, thorough, and always take a holistic view of my patients. Patients should leave each clinic visit feeling all of their issues have been addressed and all of their questions have been answered.

John Nevin, MD specializes in Adolescent Care, Pediatric Hospital Medicine, and Pediatrics and practices at the UCR Health Coachella Valley Pediatric Center. Dr. Nevin received his board certification from The American Board of Pediatrics. He graduated from Tulane University Medical School and is an active member of The American Academy of Pediatrics and Wilderness Medical Society. His non-clinical responsibilities include being the director of the Back to Basics curriculum for UCR School of Medicine.
Personal Highlights
- What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I enjoy hiking, long distance running, and weight lifting. I also have an interest in wilderness medicine and I am working towards my fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
