A Season of Gratitude and Service

As we enter November, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of the UCR Health team—our physicians, nurses, medical assistants, technologists, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff. Each of you plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the communities we serve across the Inland Empire.

Last month, we came together for our employee engagement sessions. These conversations reminded me that the heart of UCR Health lies in our people—your dedication, your ideas, and your unwavering commitment to our patients and to one another. Your feedback is shaping the next phase of our growth and guiding how we strengthen access, innovation, and collaboration across our organization.

This month, I also want to recognize several key observances that reflect our collective commitment to quality and excellence:

• Ultrasound Technologist Week (Oct. 6–10): Thank you to our technologists for the skill and precision you bring to every diagnostic moment.
• Healthcare Quality Week (Oct. 20–24): Your dedication to improving outcomes and patient safety drives our mission forward.
• Healthcare Compliance Week: As we wrap up this observance, I want to express appreciation to our compliance team for upholding the integrity and ethical standards that build patient trust.

Looking ahead, we’re preparing for an exciting new chapter focused on expanding patient access initiatives, supporting growth efforts, and launching the UC Blue & Gold HMO network in 2026. These steps will allow more patients across the region to experience the compassionate, high-quality care that defines UCR Health.

As the holiday season approaches, I also want to remind everyone to take time for rest, reflection, and self-care. The work you do every day makes a profound difference, and it’s equally important to care for yourselves and your loved ones.

Finally, as Open Enrollment for UC benefits continues through November 21, I encourage you to review your options and take advantage of the UC Blue & Gold HMO network coming in January. Together, we are building a community of care that uplifts, heals, and inspires.
