When I accepted the opportunity to lead UCR Health, I believed we had a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create something truly transformative for Inland Southern California—an academic health system that combines exceptional physicians, innovative research, outstanding education, and compassionate, patient-centered clinical care to improve the health of our communities. Building the Future of healthcare for the Inland Empire.

Every day, that vision becomes a little more real.

What excites me most is not simply that we are growing. It is how we are growing. We are intentionally building a health system centered on exceptional quality, timely access, meaningful partnerships, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the patients and communities we serve. Every physician we recruit, every clinic we open, every partnership we establish, and every improvement we make is guided by one purpose—to make outstanding academic healthcare more accessible for every patient who needs us.

As we build on this momentum, we are also introducing a new campaign centered on what UCR Health offers our communities: Local care. UC Expertise. This month, we begin by highlighting one of the most important parts of that promise: Doctors who listen.

An important part of that growth is continuing to build an exceptional physician community. Please join me in welcoming three exceptional physicians to UCR Health:
